Engagement and Nutrition Manager
In her role as Engagement and Nutrition Manager, Angela works closely with program directors and managers to ensure engagement processes are positively impacting those touched by cancer. She utilizes her skills in event planning and hospitality to support and grow events for both participants and healthcare professionals. As a registered dietitian, Angela works with her team to develop and implement a wide variety of nutrition-focused classes, individual nutrition consultations, side effect management, and ongoing support for the specialized needs of our participants, throughout the Chicagoland area. Angela focuses on a food first approach, resulting in Wellness House nutrition programs having a strong culinary emphasis. Nutrition education is incredibly important, and Angela complements that knowledge with tangible and actionable steps in the kitchen. Angela joined the Wellness House team in 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and dietetics from Benedictine University. She holds her state licensure in Illinois. Angela’s passion for connecting with others through food and nutrition is the catalyst behind her drive to be the best possible resource to assist others in their nutritional growth. Angela’s interests include cooking, reading, and watching horror movies.
