We are currently seeking a strong leader to fill the position of Director of Programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time, salaried, exempt role supervises a team of Program Managers, Community Relations Manager, and Program Associate.

Summary of Position:
A member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Programs provides leadership, direction, and management of all programs at Wellness House. The Director of Programs guides the program team in translating current research and oncology trends into needs-based programs aligned with the strategic direction of Wellness House. This position oversees and participates in program development, delivery, and evaluation, as well as staff supervision. The Program Director collaborates with fellow directors to ensure the fulfillment of the mission of Wellness House. The Program Director serves as liaison to the Program Committee of the Board of Directors and represents Wellness House to external program partners.

Summary of Position:
The Oncology Support Counselor provides direct psychosocial support to individuals and families living with cancer. The Oncology Support Counselor is responsible for facilitating support groups, providing individual consultation and counseling, and leading workshops and classes for individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. Counseling may be held at Wellness House, partner locations, or online.  With the Program Manager, this role is responsible for planning and coordinating partner programs for people affected by cancer and maintaining productive professional relationships with hospital, medical, and community partners.  Additionally, the Oncology Support Counselor contributes ideas and feedback regarding program development and evaluation.

Summary of Position:
The Participant Navigator is considered an ambassador of the vision, mission, and guiding principles of Wellness House.  Through direct service and as a first point of contact, the Participant Navigator facilitates participant entry into Wellness House programs and supports front desk team to create and maintain a welcoming environment for all participants and guests.

Summary of Position:
The Oncology Child and Family Specialist is involved in all aspects of the Child and Family Program, including direct service, outreach, and oversight of programs and staff. Direct service includes participant intake (part of the Participant Engagement Process), family consultations, short-term counseling (children, parents, whole families), support and bereavement groups, and participation in family wellness events. Outreach includes establishing and maintaining relationships with outside providers and participating in community presentations to professionals and participants to educate about the psychosocial effects of cancer within the family system. In addition, the Specialist contributes ideas and feedback to the Support and Family Programs Manager for program development and evaluation. Work schedule includes two evenings per week.
