Honor. Share. Reflect.
We invite the community to gather as we remember and honor loved ones who have died after a cancer experience. This year’s program will feature a special presentation by Paul M. Martin, PsyD: Remembering, Mourning, and Healing: Understanding the Grief Process.
Dr. Martin is a licensed clinical psychologist, Assistant Director of The Center for Grief Recovery, adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and author of Personal Grief Rituals: Creating Unique Expressions of Loss and Meaningful Acts of Mourning.
For Children
While adults participate in the remembrance program, children are invited to a special session led by Lexie Barber, Oncology Child & Family Specialist, where they can explore healthy ways to understand and cope with grief through age-appropriate activities and discussion.
Please RSVP and send photos to Beth Possley at bpossley@wellnesshouse.org by Monday, September 28.
