Oncology Education and Engagement Associate
Kara works with her team to develop and implement a wide variety of Oncology education-based classes as well as provide support for the specialized needs of our participants. Kara joined the Wellness House team in 2022, having worked in the clinical Hematology/Oncology setting as a Registered Nurse for several years. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Kara is thrilled to be a part of the Wellness House team. Kara’s passion for helping others as well as previous experience in the clinical oncology setting supports her ability to collaborate on holistic services to our participants and provide empathic and compassionate care. In her free time, Kara’s interests include spending time with family, reading, and exercising.
