Support and Counseling Program Manager
In her role as the Support and Counseling Program Manager, Allison is responsible for overseeing and helping to grow the counseling and support group programming at Wellness House. Allison also enjoys her direct work with participants, facilitating weekly and monthly support groups, providing supportive counseling for participants, and working with Wellness House’s hospital partners to provide psychosocial support within medical settings. Allison joined Wellness House in early 2022, having worked in a medical social work role for several years. Allison has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a Master of the Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago. In her free time, Allison is an avid reader, enjoys spending meaningful time with family and friends, and is attempting to learn how to cook.
