Traditional and Non-Traditional Types of Legacy Work
Allison Wenclawski, LCSW
Associate Director of Programs, Wellness House
In the work of supporting individuals impacted by cancer, the idea of creating a legacy is a common practice. There are tools and techniques that help individuals focus on traditional types of legacy, from written testimony, journals, and videos, to broader views of non-traditional legacy, such as reframing experiences and ordinary, everyday actions as a form of legacy. Allison Wenclawski, LCSW, Associate Director of Programs at Wellness House, will provide context for a variety of legacy-making initiatives, with tangible tools to bring to your clinical work.
