Breast cancer treatment often has many women finding themselves coping with changes in their physical appearance, body image, and concerns about sexuality. Dr. Hunter will present on these common, yet personal feelings. Much of her research has focused on quality of life during survivorship, as she has interests in body image, changes in sexual functioning, and health behavior change targeted at reducing risk of recurrence.

Good nutrition is always important, especially before, during, and after cancer treatment. Registered Dietitian, Anita Ratterman will discuss nutrition information and explain why it is important to get adequate nutrition to impact cancer progression, recurrence and survival for those diagnosed with breast cancer.

In this presentation Gini Fleming, MD will discuss updates in research, treatment options, and clinical trial information for metastatic breast cancer.
Surgical Management of Lymphedema and Breast Reconstruction – Board Room
Daniel Liu, MD – Cancer Treatment Centers of America
In this presentation Daniel Liu, MD will review how we currently treat breast cancer-related lymphedema of the arm and the surgical options. Additionally, Dr. Liu will review options for prosthetic and autologous breast reconstruction after mastectomy.
