As an Oncology Support Counselor, Sherri provides direct psychosocial support to individuals and families living with cancer. Sherri facilitates support groups, provides individual consultations and counseling for individuals diagnosed with cancer and caregivers both at Wellness House and at off-site locations. Sherri joined the Wellness House team in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family & Consumer Sciences from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. Sherri is passionate about restoring and renewing a person’s sense of self through difficult times. Sherri’s interests include running, volunteering and music.
