and is closed Saturday, March 31.
In her role as President and CEO, Jeannie has overall accountability, responsibility, and authority for the management of Wellness House in accordance with the strategic plan and objectives adopted and approved by the Board of Directors. She is responsible for achievement of the mission as well as financial objectives. Jeannie began her career at Wellness House in 1990 as a master’s level psychology intern from Benedictine University, after which she was hired as Program Coordinator. After earning a Master of Science degree from Benedictine, Jeannie became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and worked as part of the program staff through the nineties, culminating in her role as Program Director in 1998. In 2000, she became the Executive Director, and was named President/CEO in 2016. Having been steeped in the direct service to cancer patients and their families for ten years, working with thousands of participants, Jeannie brings a wealth of knowledge from her experience to share the Wellness House story to the larger community. Mother of four and grandmother of eight, Jeannie spends most of her free time enjoying her family.
